Epic New France

Welcome to our New France theme evening! Today we're going to delve into the fascinating history of French colonization in North America. Get ready to travel back in time and experience the exciting atmosphere of that era.

During this evening, we will have a variety of activities and entertainment to immerse you in the atmosphere of New France. You will have the opportunity to relive the experience of the French settlers, to discover their customs, their traditional dances and their captivating music.

As soon as you arrive, you will be greeted by our hosts in period costumes, who will guide you through the various activities of the evening.

Travel through time and take an unforgettable foray into a grandiose era of our past with the New France theme. In an immersive and impressive setting, visit our wooden camps, the Indian village with traditional teepee will confirm the choice of this exceptional evening.

Hunting camp:

Take a trip back in time with this typical, vintage trapper camp. Everything is there to give you the impression that it is truly inhabited. As the main structure, a wooden cabin type backdrop with several accessories such as: 3 slides, 1 pair of old skis, 2 old pairs of snowshoes, 1 old camp stove, 2 jugs, wooden barrels (a few small and a large) small trees, old cart wheels, old boat ropes, a few lanterns, 1 deer plume, small hemlock fences, milk cans, fake rocks, old metal and/or wood boiler, godendard, 2 pairs of skates, moccasins, 2 wooden boxes, burlap pockets, 1 small cart, wooden shovel, old chairs, small chest, small washboard, logs, etc. 

Native American encampment

Arrangement illustrating a Native American camp with canoe, fishing net, oar, 2 totems, 2 fir trees, snowshoes, long rifle and wooden campfires surrounded by natural logs, mini barrels, foliage, jute, + other wooden elements and Native American accessories .

Whether it's the village priest who comes to you to listen to your sins, the villagers who will allow you to try their different trades, the Indians ready to barter with you, without forgetting our explorer who will set the tone for this evening . The immersion will be total while the troubadours – percussionists and singers will share their talents from other times with you.

For the cocktail and part of the dinner: to create the interactive atmosphere of a period village. Here is a list of suggestions.

 -Our 3-dimensional boat, log camp, Indian village, trading post, period accessories, etc.
 -Several accessories complete these installations: trees, wheels, wooden barrels, milk can, lanterns, horns, etc.
 -1 DJ and 1 host (MC)

You provide

 a) For a group of (example) 50 to 100 people, plan a room with a capacity of approximately double the number of guests. We should have enough space for the installation of scenery, games (activities) and technical equipment (sound, lighting and/or projection).
 b) Arrangement of round tables (8 to 10 people / table): a banquet type configuration.
 c) The place must be equipped with a loading dock to be able to easily unload our equipment (decors and technique). If the location does not have a sufficiently large drop-off space for our team, we will have to add additional personnel to compensate for the problem.
 d) Clear height for the majority of our thematic decorations: average 10', max. 11' tall.
 e) The client must ensure that the room has a sufficiently large “goods elevator” type elevator (min. 6' X 8'), if the event does not take place on the ground floor.
 f) Power supply required: min. 4 X 15 amp on different circuits and dedicated to our equipment only.
 g) 2 covered rectangular tables of 6' or 8' for technique and our activities.
 h) A safe “lodge” type place to change and store our personal belongings.
 i) 4 hot meals for our team. 2 installers, 1 presenter, 1 DJ.
 j) Ideally meals would be served 1 hour before the start of the event.
 k) It is not necessary to have a stage for our technical equipment or our sets.
 l) Provide a dance floor if necessary. (Not provided by our company.)
 m) A high-speed internet connection is often desirable for our interactive quiz-type activities with application.
