It's going to brew in the cabin!

Welcome to this lumberjack theme! Get ready for an exciting and immersive experience where you can immerse yourself in the rustic and adventurous world of lumberjacks. Camp à Ti-Père lets you experience our old Quebec customs with entertainment and heritage music. Our DJ will have you jiggling to some good old tunes and making you sing along with songs to respond to.

Our animators-actors impersonate typical lumberjacks in traditional costumes, they will make you spend a magical moment in the purest traditions. Fasten your “toques with a spit”, because our merry fellows will teach you Quebec jargon in the form of a quiz with expressions from beyond the grave.

In terms of decorations:

Everything is there to give you the impression that the camp is truly inhabited. As the main structure, a wooden cabin-type back wall with several accessories such as: 3 slides, 1 pair of old skis, 2 old pairs of snowshoes, 1 old camp stove, 2 jugs, wooden barrels (a few small and 1 large), small trees, old cart wheels, old boat ropes, a few lanterns, 1 deer plume.

In addition, we add small hemlock fences, milk cans, fake rocks, an old metal boiler, 1 godendard, 2 pairs of skates, moccasins, 2 wooden crates, burlap bags, 1 small cart , a shovel of wood, old chairs, 1 small chest, a small washboard, logs, etc.

Optional: a Native American camp

Decor illustrating a Native American camp with canoe, fishing nets, oars, 2 totems, 2 fir trees, snowshoes, 1 long rifle, 1 campfire, natural logs as benches, mini barrels, foliage, jute and several other elements of wood and Native American accessories.

In terms of animation:

Like a winter carnival, your participants will have to go through our different folkloric tests to be able to win the golden trumpet. Masterfully hosted by two animators-comedians who look like friendly lumberjacks, participants will be subjected to a 100% Quebec quiz (on Quebec music, Quebec inventions, local customs, etc.).

Here is an overview of the games and competitions that we have prepared to make this day unforgettable:

  1. The nail in the woods: 4 stations: a log, a hammer, gloves, 4" nails, a large tarpaulin.
  2. Sciotte competition: Put your strength and speed to the test by participating in this log cutting competition. Using a saw, you will need to cut logs into pieces as quickly as possible. Whoever finishes first wins the prize! 2 stations: a log support, a saw, blocks of wood, gloves, 2 tarpaulins.
  3. Potato pocket competition: The classic potato pocket race for the whole family. Including cones and pockets.
  4. Wrist Shooting Competition: Come and test your raw strength in this arm wrestling competition! Face other lumberjacks and use all your power to achieve victory. You have only one goal: to crush the opponent! Who will be the strongest in your group? Get your big muscles out, you'll need them! Including a professional wrist shooting table
  5. Tug of war competition: The two teams stand on opposite sides of the rope, holding hands firmly and aligning themselves. The objective is to pull the rope in their respective direction, using their collective strength to push the other team back.
  6. Jig and spoon competitions:  Jig is a traditional dance form originating mainly from the French-speaking regions of Canada, particularly Quebec. Spoon playing, on the other hand, involves playing rhythms by tapping spoons together or against other surfaces.
  7. Ax competition: Test your skills by throwing an ax at a wooden target! Show your precision and try to score as many points as possible. Be careful not to lose control of your own axe!
  8. The lumberjack quiz: Questions can be presented as text, images, or even videos, depending on the medium used for the quiz. Participants must answer the questions as quickly as possible, using their knowledge and reasoning to find the correct answer.

So prepare your muscles, sharpen your tools and come experience a lumberjack-themed day filled with adventure, challenges and camaraderie in the heart of nature!

 -Equipment for games and activities.
-1 DJ and 1 professional costumed entertainer (MC)

You provide

 a) Ex.: For a group of 50 to 100 people, plan a room with a capacity of approximately double the number of guests. We should have enough space for the installation of scenery, games (activities) and technical equipment (sound, lighting and/or projection).

 k) It is not necessary to have a stage for our technical equipment or our sets.
 l) Provide a dance floor if necessary. (Not provided by our company.)
 m) A high-speed internet connection is often desirable for our interactive quiz-type activities with application.
